CLINIC UPDATES

Mask Wearing & Symptoms

Mask wearing is still mandatory when coming into the clinic. If you have any cold & flu symptoms such as sore throat or fever, please do not come into the clinic, phone us first and you will be seen in the car.

Staff Updates

We welcome Dr Doug Winter to the Balmoral Doctors team in mid March and sadly farewell Dr Ellen Mears on the 1st March. Dr Mears is returning to the UK and we wish her all the best on her return to the UK.

Vaccines

From April 2023, Covid-19 vaccine boosters will be available for the following eligible patients, provided that you have already completed a primary course (2 doses):

Ages 30 or over

At risk of severe illness from Covid-19

Also from April, Flu vaccines will be available.

You can get an additional booster 6 months after your last Covid-19 vaccine. If you've recently had Covid-19 infection, it's recommended that you wait 6 months before getting an additional booster.

The Meningococcal vaccines are back in stock at the practice. We have Bexsero (non funded) and Menactra (both non funded and funded) vaccines available again.
